Silhouette

Because this inspiration brings out a youthful energetic feeling, I decide to use streetwear as my collection’s main silhouette. Streetwear is popular since the 1990s, so I research some characteristics of streetwear. This is the overall silhouette of my collection, which will be a bit baggy, loose fit, and overlay fashion.

In the 1990s, streetwear is a clothing style that became known worldwide. Streetwear originated from a combination of New York hip-hop fashion, California surf cat culture and elements of sportswear, punk and Japanese street fashion. Eventually, haute couture became an influence. It is about "casual, comfortable pieces such as T-shirts, jeans, sneakers and baseball caps".
